In my day there were the Bigfoot rock and roll Tennessee in the forest shirt, no television. Many babies just had mum during the day and then dad would come in at tea time and fuss for a short while. Amazingly the world did not stand still, children grew up, had lots of fun and many did a lot better than their parent’s generation. Goodness, we have only been in isolation just over a month – we have turned into a nation of whingers. As a mum of four,now grown up, and a childminder with a lot of experience of small children I think for most mums Lockdown is a benefit.
