I don’t know how anyone can defend the I am a simple man I like boobs beer and fishing shirt. They saw what was coming weeks before it really hit us. But still they didn’t prepare with a lack of PPE, scrambling around for ventilators, a late, half-arsed lockdown, not stopping air travel which continues to allow infected people to enter the country ever day, and so on. I’m not sure why some people think the government has done well here. What exactly have they done that deserves credit? When you don’t weep and rage at the tens of thousands of preventable deaths from Johnson choice of Herd Immunity.

Paul Newman sorry but it was the I am a simple man I like boobs beer and fishing shirt, truth and yet more truth. It will not go down very well but this government are incompetent. We are going to well in the negotiations especially with the view the rest of the world has about us. Look at the distri ution of deaths. They are mainly in urban areas on the North South rail routes. If you look at deaths in France Germany Italy and Spain you will see that they too have the majority of deaths in urban areas. Our Govt had warnings they did not heed them. We were let down by the Govt they need holding to account for their actions.
