That wound deepened to the point that I’m spoiled because no one will spank Nana shirt and ideas if I feared they would come out wrong. I shied away from the living, laughing, and pursuing my dreams because I thought I wouldn’t measure up. But all that changed one day when I was preparing for an interview. I think you look good enough for an interview. And then she drew a picture of me. I messed up on your hair, but that’s not what’s important, she declared with confidence. I wanted to resemble the happy lady in the picture who held a star in her hand–not a hairbrush, I adopted her brilliant motto from that day forward: Good enough for today.

Best I’m spoiled because no one will spank Nana shirt
When our children look at us, I’m spoiled because no one will spank Nana shirt, they see love sweet, beautiful, never failing love. One of the first things I learned in therapy was to give myself permission not to be perfect. Perfectionism feeds depression. If you are a perfectionist then you will always fall short and never be good enough. That doesn’t mean screwing up is acceptable. It does mean that good enough is often good enough. We are all human and we all make mistakes. However, mistakes are often excellent learning experiences. One’s self-worth is more important than insisting on reaching goals that can never be met. The main thing that is expected of us in everything we do is to put the effort. As long as we put the effort God is smiling at us!
