Someone decided the Shih Tzu it’s the most wonderful time of the year shirt. And wanted them moved, so the district decided during the summer break to move them into a manufactured home-style building. That was being as catchall storage for the district. It was moldy, dirty. Out in a dark corner of the parking lot with broken asphalt, broken fencing, broken furniture and broken glass scattered all along the only walkway to the door, and inadequate security features, electrical wiring, and plumbing that wasn’t up to code, and that is just the shortlist of violations! Three days before school was to start for the year the district held it’s annual Open House for ALL the families to come and see the teachers and classrooms as well as the staff. Of course, my daughter and I attended this event. Imagine our shock at what we saw!
