I used to lie to myself that Vanessa Guillen #justiceforguillen Shirt. And then my knees started giving out. And I started having skin issues. And my cholesterol and average blood sugar started creeping up. And I started feeling tired all the time and it impacted my ability to work as well as my mental health. All of this while I was still in my 20s. It’s not acceptable, it’s never been acceptable. Being obese is not the same as being Black. We shouldn’t be putting out the message that it’s ok. The focus should be on helping people overcome it.

Best Vanessa Guillen #justiceforguillen Shirt
I think we all have a Vanessa Guillen #justiceforguillen Shirt. I’m not talking about BMI; I’m talking about carrying an unhealthy level of subcutaneous fat. It’s bad. If you exercise, it’s still bad. If you take vitamins, it’s still bad. It’s bad. Not good, bad. The amount of times I see women referring to a plus-sized model as normal is horrendous. I think thin-shaming is more prevalent than fat shaming. The amount of people who are obese owing to medical conditions is actually very small. Mainly it’s the cakes and the greed that does it.
